Suresh Eranda – General Manager
With over 14 years of extensive experience in leadership, e-commerce, sales, marketing, and brand management, Suresh Eranda has risen through the ranks at Kapruka. Starting as a junior executive, he has climbed to the top of management, playing a key role in shaping Kapruka’s unique work culture, which seamlessly integrates blue-collar and white-collar staff. Suresh holds a Higher National Diploma in Brand Management from the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing and has completed the intermediate level of the Chartered Accountants program.
Gayathri Banneheka – Chief Technology Officer
Gayathri has over 6 years of experience in software engineering, E-Commerce technologies, data modeling and database design, ERP systems, IT security, and project management. She spearheads all the technology teams at Kapruka. Tech Root Pvt Ltd (a fully owned subsidiary of Kapruka Holdings) is now a brainchild of Gayatri and provides technology services to all subsidiaries of Kapruka Holdings. Gayathri holds a PGD in IT from the British Computer Society, a BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering from Anglia Ruskin University, and a Master of Business Administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University. Besides, She is an associate member of the British Computer Society.
Akila Thalpawila – Deputy General Manager
Akila Thalpawila is a seasoned Deputy General Manager with over 15 years of extensive experience in the E-commerce and BPO industries. Uniquely, he has a proven track record in customer service, quality assurance, sales, and operations management. Moreover, Akila holds an MBA in Business Administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK. In general, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive results and lead teams to success.
Manjula Kumara – Head of Finance
Manjula has over 10 years of experience as an accountant and as an internal auditor in Kapruka. Besides strong audit skills, he possesses a tacit knowledge of cross-border export and import operations and regulations. He holds a BSc Management (Special) Degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Notably, Manjula is a lifetime member of the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka. Moreover, he has completed the intermediate level of the Sri Lanka Chartered Accountants programme.
