Relief Donations Have Been Handed Over

In response to the recent floods, Sri Lankans around the world came together to help families in urgent need. To every customer who donated through Kapruka: thank you.

We also want to sincerely thank you for trusting Kapruka to carry out this donation drive. Your support enabled us to move quickly purchasing essentials locally, packing, and delivering relief items to trusted centres for immediate distribution.

What we promised and what we delivered

This drive was built to be simple and accountable, especially for donors supporting Sri Lanka from overseas:

You selected a relief pack and chose a trusted collection/distribution centre.
Kapruka purchased the essential items locally and prepared them for delivery.
We delivered donations free of charge to the selected centres.
Handovers were completed at each centre for onward distribution to affected communities.

1) Kandy City Center

Next steps

We are currently assessing the latest requirements on the ground with our trusted partners. Until the next needs list is confirmed, this donation drive remains closed to new donations while we complete processing and reporting.
