Now you don’t have to stand in a line in a supermarket or a post office to pay your LECO payment. In fact, with a little practice, you could be doing this in the comfort of your home. As with all online transactions, you have to have a debit or credit card to effect this sort of payment. In this day and age, who doesn’t have a debit or credit card? Notably, making a LECO online payment is super easy with LECO’s easy-to-use portal. Just follow the below steps and your LECO online payment can be done in a matter of a few minutes.

Step 1

Search for LECO online payment gateway on Google and it will appear as below. You can simply search for “LECO online payment.” Here, there is no need to type the exact website name. However, if you want to be as fluent as possible, you can go to https://lecoapp.leco.lk/OnlineBillPay/. Once you get there, the page will be displayed as below:

Step 2

Once you get to the above, subsequently choose Instant Pay. This field will appear as shown below. I have shown a screenshot for easy reference. The best news is that you don’t have to register to make your LECO online payment. In this field, you have to enter your account number. That’s about it as far as the protocol is concerned. To get the account number, you either remember it or refer to the bill. I have shown below where to get the account number.

Step 3

Once you input the account number, you are good to go and the following fields will appear as shown below. It is quite simple now as you have to fill in these fields.

As shown above, your account number is now displayed. To make sure, you can click View Details and cross-check if your details match your billing details. Once you’ve done that,

Enter the amount you wish to pay.

Enter your mobile number.

Enter your e-mail address.

Once you have done that, select payment methods like Visa, Master, or Amex and press the Pay Now button.

Step 4

Once you push the Pay Now button, the following message will be displayed on your screen. Here, once the details displayed on the screen are all good, you can press the green continue button.

Step 5

The following details will appear on your screen. You have to simply fill in all the fields accurately, which is quite easy to understand and press the red Proceed button.

Important notes:

You are advised to keep any one of the following as proof of your online bill payment.

  • A printout of the web payment receipt
  • You will receive an SMS confirming the payment.

If you are already served with a Disconnection Notice, please produce any one of the above proofs to our disconnection staff when they arrive at your premises.

Please keep in mind that your disconnection notice may not be resolved with the part payments you made and that you should contact the relevant branch office or our call centre for more information.
